This was such an easy stay for a quick night. Got to the airport and thought I would have to wait a bit for the shuttle as one just drove off, nope, 5 minutes later it was back and I was on my way. Check in was easy and as someone with Hyatt status she made me feel very welcome, I even had a welcome card with a few waters waiting for me in my room. The room was super clean, basic but great for an airport hotel. Check out was great too, shuttle back to the airport was easy and clean, seems like a brand new shuttle van!
This hotel is one of the closest to the airport. My room had great views of aircraft taking off. This was great but was a little noisy. Room was clean and hotel in great shape. The exercise equipment was in best condition I have seen. The breakfast was great as was the night shift girl I spoke to each morning at the front desk. Very alert and friendly for being up all night. Only issues I had were housekeeping knocked on my door at noon even though had 2 PM late checkout and no usable indoor pool for winter stays. For the price a good hotel for airport stays.
This is a very average airport hotel. The rooms are large, but the sofa was upholstered with a creepy plastic type material. Comfortable beds.
Perfect location in Austin, the enormous boardwalk that runs along it. It also has good road access and is very well situated. The rooms are practical and clean.
I had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Place Austin Airport. My top-floor room was incredibly quiet for an airport hotel — you could barely hear anything from outside or the nearby runways. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Breakfast was included and impressively generous: a full buffet with plenty of hot and cold, sweet and savory options. My only small wish would be for some plain, unsweetened yogurt among the choices. Although there were tea bags in the room, I really missed having a proper water kettle — as using the coffee machine for hot water gives the tea a bit of a coffee aftertaste. Online check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the shuttle service was excellent — just a few minutes from the terminal to the hotel, with a super friendly driver who sounded like a true Texan! A perfect choice for anyone with an early or late flight, or just needing a peaceful layover. Highly recommended.
The location is perfect and the shuttle is very convenient. They even set some grab and go items out if you have to leave before breakfast hours. We were on the second floor and could hear the person above us for hours. Got very little sleep. Stay on floor 4!
Great hotel and staff. I stayed for some training and was very impressed with this Hyatt. I am a Hilton employee and I have to say that Hyatt is a very impressive brand that I would now recommend to others. This was my first stay at a Hyatt by the way. GM does a nice job keeping his hotel in great condition. Highly recommended
Right by the Austin airport you can hear and see the planes outside but inside you don’t really hear anything. Water gets hot which is nice and stays hot. Great food in restaurant.
